What if there was a move that allowed the user to change its ability to its other one?

Are you fucking serious of course it breaks the meta. I'll give you some examples
>Intimidate for Krookodile and Gyarados, and get Moxie when they get a kill
>Shed Skin for Scrafty whenever it's affected by status, Moxie when it gets a kill
>Guts whenever Hera is affected by status, Moxie when it gets a kill and switches back to Guts

meh but wasting an entire turn and moveslot just to swap your ability would be costly and pretty much tell your opponent what you're planning

Exactly. People already flipping out but to take a whole turn to take advantage of a status effect leaves you completely open to more attacks as well as damage if its Toxic or Burn.

In all honesty, I don't think an ability changing move would be that great, unless it's given to bulky mons or ones that have multiple abilities that take advantage of weather or statuses, like Heliolisk and Ursaring.

Now, if there was a move that changed another targets ability, that'd be crazy good.
