Chomp won't clean KO it, of course (Unless you run band variant, or an SD variant), but at the same time, Slash can't straight shot it either, so slash is still going to run into major issues.
Also, those '7' sets pretty much all get handled in similar fashion. All it sounds like is that you don't know how to handle it.
