He was one of those popular, good looking and hard working kid.
On november the 30th during, what we call at least, open house, he didn't join the bus to school and we assumed he was sick. After a whole day I came home about 18:00.
I saw someone had this crying smiley face on the messenger for one of my other friends back then and called them.
My other friend's crying mom answered the phone. I felt I knew what happened and literally the first thing I said was: "It's about Jesper right? Don't tell me he hanged himself?".
What breaks me the most was how that was the first thing I said and how I, somewhere in my head, knew he wasn't feeling well. But he kept hiding it.
And now he's dead.
A lot of shit happened and it took me a few years to come back on track with my life.
He isn't the only one of my friends who hanged himself, but he had the biggest impact on me.
Suicide and homicide is an increasing death number in sweden only for the last five years. This happened nine years ago.
tl;dr
We have no idea why he killed himself.
