I'm planning on participating in the 2014 International Challenge. I want to use Azumarill, but I don't have any good ideas for some partners for it. Any suggestions? The only thing I can think of is Amoonguss, but I'm not very excited about that option.

It's almost literally a faster amoonguss. Sleep powder/rage powder are a must, I also run Helping hand and the last slot could either be encore, memento, aromatherapy or protect. I like memento.

I run focus sash on mine, to ensure that I take at least one hit from the enemy.
With the Azumarill/Jumpluff combination I have managed to come back from really bad positions, both thank to sleep powder and rage powder.
I run enough speed to outspeed base 102, the rest in hp and defense.
That set is taunt bait though, so watch out for sableye.

Yeah, Sableye can cripple Azumarill, too. I'll probably put on something like Gardevoir to handle that.

Are some of the best VGC 2014 resources, anyways...

There's a lot that can be said about Azumarill, but the above links cover it all already.
Just one thing: it's probably not ideal to build around belly drum.
It's great for forcing pressure onto Azumarill, but rage powder got nerfed pretty hard, and me first doesn't have that many viable users anymore.

I heartily recommend the Fantasy core, so stick something like Dragonite or Garchomp and Aegislash or Bisharp or (Mega) Scizor in reserves.
Azumarill, Ferrothorn, and Mega Charizard X is a FWG Fantasy core, which might be pretty cool.
