>>19066322The main issue I have with Aromatisse, is how it really feels like wasted potential designwise. People expected a badass Plague Doctor bird from Spiritzee's design, only to get a ridiculous fat bird based on a perfume tassel. It is not the most horrid thing from Gen VI, but boy, it is sure a total letdown.
Anyway, my list:
Gen I: Mr. Mime/ Jynx - I'd like Genwunners to defend these designs.
Gen II: Stantler - Most forgettable Gen II design, boring as hell, and completely outclassed by about everything else.
Gen III: Masquerain - Dumped Surskit's interesting Bug-Water typing for being an incredible mediocre Bug-Flying type. Underwhelming on every front.
Gen IV: Kriketune - Early-game bug without anything significant about it ever. Dishonorable mention goes to Mesprit for showing that GF's ''legendary'' poke design for legend trios was not in a good state anymore, which became apparent in the next gen.
Gen V: The entire Klink line - In a Generation full of questionable designs and expys, the Klink line was the worst of it in copying its Gen I counterpart (Magnemite) without any of its charm whatsoever and just not looking like a pokemon at all. Dishonorable mentions to the Gothila line (It's like they mixed up the Mr. Mime and Jynx line into one design, a bad thing.) and the original Kami Trio (The most blatant palette swaps in the series until B2/W2 saved them with thier alt formes.) and the ridiculously bland Pidove line.
Gen VI: Diggersby - L4D's Boomer gets a Pokemon counterpart. I can almost see why Lysandre wanted to nuke the region.
