If you're really having that hard of a time, go play an older onePokemon actually having personality. Also, this is effected by training style and natures

Basicly, if you have two well-off Pokemon and breed them, then there kids will be well off, not randomly generated. And yes, this means pure bloods will be a thingItems, equipment, hats, etc. will actually show up on Pokemon.
