>>19077954I'm fine with old cards, but they're pretty much outclassed in every way by new cards.
And the majority of people I see playing old cards are playing stuff from like, base set or MAYBE gen 3 on the rare occasion, which makes me a bit wary since I've had a lot of sore losers that either chide me for taking the game too seriously for sweeping or get mad because muh nostalgia deck isn't unbeatable.
So long as you're not an asshole to people playing new cards, I don't have a problem with you.
However, one thing to keep in mind, some people will enforce the reprint rule, meaning if a card was reprinted, you use it under the reprint rules. This means that Bill is a supporter, Computer Search is an Ace Spec, Potion heals 30, etc. That might be your biggest hurdle with playing, because some people either think that using the old ruling makes those old decks more balanced with the current power creep, and others think that the reprinting balances horribly broken cards from the past.
Make sure you're on the same page with your opponent so this stuff doesn't bite you.
