>>19090151I have always, always, always wanted a Grass/Ghost Jack-o-Lantern Pokemon. Since as long as I can remember. Through some dumb luck, the first two encounters I got on that route were Phantump despite it being far rarer. Hyped at the mere existence of Grass/Ghost, I quickly named the first one I caught "Jack." I was with my girlfriend at the time, and I mentioned it to her and said how this probably meant there won't be another Grass/Ghost for at least a generation, so I'd have to keep waiting for my dream Pokemon.
Then I ran into a Pumpkaboo, mid-comiseration. It was so uncanny that I actually had to pass the 3DS to her to confirm I was really seeing it, because I honestly thought I had slipped into some kind of wish-fullfilling hallucination. Long story short, little cutie was an immediate add to my team.
