I just hit ~1300 with my in-game team and want to know if I can consider that good.

700+ is undeniably good. Still not necessarily great, but you know more or less what you're doing.

If you forfeit enough times, is it possible for your ranking to go to 0? What kind of players reside within those ranks? Truly awful ones, or other people who also felt like forfeiting to get that low?

The thousand is completely irrelevant, seeing as you can't even go below 1000. Anyone who didn't understand what I meant is most likely one of the ones I'm referring to when I say breathing is an achievement.

I've only really played Random Battles, Random Doubles, Challenge Cup, and Challenge 1v1 because I can't be assed to make a functioning team out of Pokemon that I truly enjoy using to fit in one of Smogon's tiers.

1200-1400 in all of those.

I did make a Doubles Battle team the other day though and while it's very shit, I enjoyed it. Thinking about making a Little Cup, Middle Cup and Sky Battle Team though.

Because it's an Elo-Rating.
You lose points if you lose, so a negative number would look ugly.

It used to go lower, back when they had the win streak system, when you started off on an account and you kept winning you could chain 250 point wins up until you got to 2,000 easily. I guess they didn't want players to feel bad so they changed it to 1,000 minimum.

I'm at 1500 in OU, but now that RU is out I'm spending most of my time there. I'm 1400 there moving up. I usually peak around 1650 before I start getting losing streaks.

I topped at something between 1770-1790.
After that I lost like twice and got put back at like 1700
Then I legitimately lost about 5 or 6 times to pure hax. Not even fucking kidding. Those matches would always be like they get a crit in the worst possible moment and they sweep or shit like that, so I got hella mad and stopped laddering for a while, lol.
Oh well. Currently #85 on UU ladder, though.
