Also I didn't get how the 4th gym worked In X/Y it's a giant tree inside of a mountain. Where does the sunlight come from.

Types can refer to multiple things at once.

Dragons being "legendary creature" and also "scaly beast thing"
Ice being literal ice or just temperature manipulation.

Dark can be weak to Fighting because of the whole "honor against trickery" thing while being weak to bug because bugs are nocturnal.
