I can't seem to find anything on Metal Burst involving the type-effectiveness.

Basically, if I were to use Metal Burst on say a Fire Pokemon. Even though it's suppose to return 1.5x the dmg, will it still do so despite Steel being NVE against Fire?

I'm curious if Aggron with Sturdy could kill Mega Charizard with a Metal Burst.
