It can get all the coverage it needs with just Sludge Bomb, Focus Blast, and Shadow Ball, but if you really want to use four attacking moves, you can use Dazzling Gleam or Dark Pulse.

A Mega Gengar with hyper offense is just asking to be walled by Chesnaught unless you carry Dazzling Gleam, which is of lower priority compared to things like Perish Song.

There's also Sludge Wave, but HONESTLY, is anyone really that dumb enough to sacrifice Sludge Bomb's 30% poison for 10%? Just for 5 more BP?

It's viable, but it has much more options. But of course, you can use Mega Gengar as a sniper with a very specified moveset (like Energy Ball if you absolutely NEED to kill Gastrodon and Rotom-W).

They're comparable, honestly.

Dazzling Gleam lets it hit all mons neutrally except Pyroar.

Focus Blast is currently unresisted and has much better SE coverage, but has to rely on Focus Miss (the main point of contention; it'd be a non-issue if Gengar got Aura Sphere).

I don't see why people do this online, when a Taunt can finish them off.
Mega Gengar is a power house, it would be foolish to waste it's power on such a weak and pathetic tactic.
