What is the evidence to say that the Kyogre and Groudon on the covers of ORAS are mega evolutions?

Groudon is a lot harder to say but Kyogre has the yellow markings on its head, there appears to be a line extending from the "bubbles" above its eye. All in all though, the silhouettes wouldnt look incredibly different so its entirely possible they're just redrawn.
Im betting they're an increased BST version, but then Rayquaza would need one too... So maybe not

The only change is the Omega symbol on Groudon's arm.

Now that I give it a second thought, they're definitely not megas. There will be megas for sure, but these are not it.

They designed it *just* different enough to cause doubt, but they've always had that glow and markings, and none of their main features really changed (not body shape, not extra armor or accesories).

Those don't look so different that it could just be a slight redesign due to graphics or something.
I think it might just be relighting for dramatic flare, but megas are probable if they are present in the game.

They're not megas, just different forms like Giratina, Deoxys, and Rotom.
The changes aren't drastic enough to be Megas.

We have mega laitos and latias, and many other gen 3 so that means there's a good chance to have megas in this game.
