Gamefreak, please include a real hard mode this time. Please. I want every battle after the first gym to have 6+ pokemon with half decent AI. Let the E4 cheat on their RNG for all I care, I just want a challenge.

Also, fix that fucking horrible 3D mode.

Unlockable replay modes
An actual Battle Frontier, with actual teams ripped from online.
Extra sidestories that add characterization to both the world and certain characters.
Create your own clothing.
A random dungeon a-la Lufia's Ancient Cave or FFIV advance (though that is kind of the Battle Frontier in Emerald)

It wouldn't be much, but it would actually add some fun.

Though to be fair, in XY I used the EXP Share most of the game and my team was at level 80 by the end, killed all of the final boss Pokemon in one hit. That's a bit easier than Red/Blue was

The engame for RBY is way easier because GF forgot to add movesets for most of them.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't mind an initial setting to make gameplay harder, rather than waiting until the end of the game for a challenge.

Hard-mode for GF - Allow the player to get access to a new region after beating the Elite Four. Example, after beating Hoenn, you get access to Kalos; after Kalos, you get access to Johto, etc.

But, we know that won't happen.... :(

Personally, the biggest flaw was the number of new mons, of megas, the Gen I pandering and the complete absence of any Gen V mega.

This game was saved by its graphical advance and the PSS. Otherwise it would have been almost as bad as Diamond and Pearl.

I didn't use it and the game was still way too fucking easy.

Why just 4 mons to the Elite 4? Why in the fuck's sake? And why all the Elite Four should have equally leveled Pokémon? This is one of the shittiest thing introduced in the Fifth Generation. I agree with choosing which Elite you want to face next, but his Pokémon's levels should increase as you beat them. And they should have 5 freaking Pokémon, while the Gym leaders should have more than just 3 mons per person. This just came just from the anime, where that autistic guy almost always faces Gym leaders in 3v3, but in the game this doesn't make any fucking sense.

Correct these things, and the games will at least avoid you to yawn constantly...

It's the usual 5 steps forward 7 steps back dynamic that always happens with GameFreak. The new features are cool, but there's something hampering each one of them. Customization is a cool concept we've all been waiting for, but it's shit. You're barely indistinguishable from anyone else who plays, and with the whole "worldwide, play with as many people as you can" shtick it just doesn't cut it. Battle box is interesting, but terrible in execution. The story finally touches on themes of life and death, even going as far as having death happen, and it's utter and complete shit. Megas are awesome, but they were distributed horribly, with two gen one Pokemon getting two. Hopefully these games break the mold.

Everyone will love this game come Gen 7. It was same with Gen 4 and 5. Everyone hated Gen 4 until 5 came out, and then everyone hated 5 until 6 came out.

Personally, while the story was weaker than 5, I thought this was the best game of the series. Also: expecting an incredible story out of a Pokemon game made for 10 year olds? Niggas please.

Shit customization, shit frame rate, shit story/characters ( that's saying something for pokemon ), shit gimmicks ( mega evo and air battles are ridiculously bad implemented, with megas barely being a step above digimon ) and shit region design. Pokemon-amie was also hyped up but adds nearly nothing to the game.

AND UGLY ASS TEXTURES.

No post-game, the region feels empty. No dificulty whatsoever. The game is rushed and inconsistent.

It's still a solid pokemon game but game freak really does nothing but sit on their money pile all day long. Here's hoping at least Hoenn LOOKS good.
