I always tear up a little when the home city theme starts to play for the first time in the remakes.

Fuck yes. This brings back memories of all the hype my 7 year old friends could say about how good Ruby/Saphire were. I was so excited to play it (it was my first pokemon game), and would sit in my room for hours a day just playing. Damn, it's going to be good to relive that.

RS are the only games I never had legit carts of. This will be the first time I experience them on a system, so I'm a little hype, but I think they're going to have to be quite a bit better than the originals to stand out because RS were only ok.

My family was poor too so I never really got a real game console until I was 14 and it wasn't a gameboy.
