Why do I think the remakes/squeals to R/S will be shit?

I don't know. I just feel like GF will fuck up the contests, fuck up the Battle Frontier, fuck up the framerate (again), fuck up secret bases.

I don't know. After how shit X and Y were, I'm not so sure how much trust I have in GF anymore.

They had to create an entirely new engine for both overworld and battles. Of course other things seemed 'rushed' because XY are the establishing games for the next games. Any game now will be built off of the existing engine and will therefore have more substantial content created for it rather than having the priority development for the foundational engine.

But it's Gamefreak so they're very likely to fuck it up.

Many other people on the other hand enjoyed X/Y and think ORAS will be awesome. If you don't like where the franchise is headed, then stop playing them.

yep. apparently there's two groups, one that does the main new games, and the others that do the ancillary ones. or they just switch back and forth i dont know. but yeah it's HGSS's team's turn now. perhaps we'll have a correct UI like in HGSS along with the other correct things from XY excluding the small amount of incorrect things in XY such as having the 'move pokemon' option NOT as the first option in the PC
