>>19122260You beat me to it. I'm not even hopeful of any of that honestly. If Corocoro even acknowledges it we'll probably just get a page or two with the two cover legends and something like "But don't they look a little different now...?" implying a mega/forme, and then a big showcase thing will be revealed at E3 with gameplay trailers and a few wow factor reveals.
Frankly, I'd expect to see a trailer showing off some of the more impressive vistas of Hoenn in 3D, cutting to a battle with some Hoenn pokemon, move to a montage of player characters decorating secret bases with quick jump cuts to a bunch of different styles, show off some of the player customization (if it stays in which it should if gamefreak isn't completely retarded), then a quick montage of Team Aqua/Magma to show off their new designs really quick and show some footage of the results of their plans. Then we'll probably get one of those quiet/mysterious ending screens with silhouettes of Kyogre/Groudon in their new style with some teaser text about them looking different. BAM, trailer over. At least based on what gamefreak did with previous trailers.
If we do get any info, the few things I'm most eager to know are whether we retain trainer customization (and if so then PLEASE give us some better and more interesting options for males including more then 4 haircuts, possibly some spiky ones with bandanas ala Brendan), whether following pokemon will be included, if they plan on doing an expanded post game (possibly with a second region/mini-region like the Sevii Islands), and how the story is going to be handled. Since we aren't getting a remake of Emerald which brought the two stories together, are we going to get a classic RS split with Aqua in AS and Magma in OR, or are they going to do a revamped version of the emerald story with slight emphasis on one team or the other in each version, different pokemon available and the flip flopping weather disasters from Emerald when both wake up?
