Shiny Odd Egg Igglybuff in Crystal was my first, then later acquired a shiny Koffing in the same save. Ended up restarting after realizing I'd never get Ho-Oh (killed Suicune and Raikou, was like 6/7 so didn't know how important they were). New save, got shiny Sentret who was my bro, Odd Egg Elekid, and Sneasel.
Had Ruby, managed to catch a shiny Tropius and made it my Contest bro, but lost Ruby when my family moved to a new house. Later in Emerald, was soft resetting for shiny Rayquaza, gave up and flew to Sootopolis. First Pokemon I encounter was a shiny Magikarp. After transferring to 4th gen and restarting Emerald, was power leveling my Treeko before taking on my rival and found a shiny Zigzagoon that I couldn't catch due to no access to pokeballs.
I let a friend borrow my Pearl, when I got it back from him he caught a shiny Geodude. In Black, I found a shiny Sandile. White 2 netted me a shiny Magnemite and Sewaddle who had pretty good IVs and good natures. Evolved them and use the Magnezone on my teams to this day.
Recently in X, chain fished a shiny Clawitzer. Rest of my shinies are bred, mostly from 4th and 5th gen. A bit sore about my Tropius after all this time since I could make it a Contest champ once more, but Longneck is long gone.
