As a player of the Japanese DS and 3DS versions, I found the latter to be intolerably unfunny, and the new mechanics like babies and helping people propose to one another made the game feel out of place. The former's more normal aside from the dumb dream sequences which can be ignored, but the game's still pretty boring.
