For those of you who do not know; Nintendo recently announced that they are planning to release remakes to the 2003 video games Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version, originally for the Gameboy Advance.

The remakes are titled Pokémon OmegaRuby and Pokémon AlphaSapphire and are for the Nintendo 3DS family, including the Nintendo 2DS. It is slated to be released in November of this year, 2014.

We do not know much about these new games besides the names, release frame, and box art, which I have attached as a picture. There is also a small teaser trailer which I will link below.
