Is it just me, or do OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire sound like fucking horrible names?

Unless they're doing something with an entirely different story and a beginning/ending of the world theme, these names are just bad.

Nah, we're getting an alternate version of Mega Evolution tied to the Greek alphabet, with 24 new Mega Evolutions, each one tied to a letter. For example, Omega Groudon and Alpha Kyogre.

For the starters, there's Phi Blaziken, Chi Swampert, and Psi Sceptile. Blaziken still has regular Mega Blaziken, too.

Because Mega Evolutions as Kalos knows them are exclusive to Kalos, according to XY. To avoid the continuity issues of Hoenn having Mega Evolution beyond what's already in Kalos, not to mention years prior, is to have it not be "Mega Evolution".

I mean, it might just be that certain rocks randomly happen to have odd effects on certain Pokemon by sheer luck. There certainly seem to be a bunch of weird radioactive rocks just lying around in the Pokemon world. From there, the rock would be named after the Pokemon it effects despite it not being designed for that purpose. Like Catnip.

They're bad names on their own, but what makes them even worse is that there are already MULTIPLE other legendaries that would fit the names better. Xerneas and Yveltal would fit, as they are creation and destruction (beginning and end), Zekrom and Reshiram would fit as Yin+Yang is supposed to represent all that there is, shit even the Sinnoh legends would be better since they are the "God" trio.

I've seen this parroted before but I've never really seen any evidence for it outside of the standard Bulba autism and the fact that they vaguely fit the land-sea-air trio thing (which a bunch of other legendary animals also fit).

One of the only things the behemoth is actually described doing in the bible is drinking a whole river, which is pretty un-groudon like, and it's usually taken to be a hippo or an elephant or something. Kyogre is the closest, but Ziz is a fucking bird for christ's sake. Just seems like another classic case of "epik mind freeek xD" aka making the evidence fit the claim.
