>>19130560If Kyogre and Groudon are getting them (Because seriously, look at those covers and tell me that they aren't), and Lati@s is already confirmed to, odds are that mega-evolution is going to be worked into the story somehow, and having only a single one of the starters get a mega-evo is extremely unbalanced, so they should be getting them out of simple neccesity. This also leads into the fact that if we have megas then at the very least the champion will need one, and Steven's signature is Metagross, so there's that, and at that point it's unlikely that ONLY one non-starter/non-legend pokemon is going to get a new mega. Since Gardevoir already got one, I'd not be surprised if Gallade did for ORAS, though the rest is anyones guess.
Of course, I could be completely wrong here. Someone earlier today hypothesized that the Red and Blue Orbs are actually Kyogre and Groudon's megastones, which would make them evolving something of a plot point. Either way, I'd expect a bit more info at E3 and a big corocoro special on it as soon after that as possible. If we have mega-evolutions in ORAS, especially new ones, then I can't imagine nintendo wouldn't showcase at least the cover legends and make it apparent that it isn't going away.
