ORAS New Mega Evo predictions? Obviously they wouldn't allow Blaziken to blatantly outclass Marshtomp and Sceptile in the mega evo department any longer, so we can assume they'll receive mega evos. I also think metagross and salemance could see megas. Thoughts? pic unrelated

Swampert and Grovyle, maybe Gallade. Wouldn't be surprised if they were saving Gen 5 Mega's for this game either. Since it looks like Groudon and Kyogre are getting Mega's, then we can probably expect Mega Rayquaza too.

I hadnt considered gallade. Now that I think about how Gardevoir has one and he doesn't, it's sounds like an extremely likely thing. And I guess the box arts showing the megas slipped my mind, I didnt even think about rayquaza though

Something that just occured to me is that there are 30 mega evos as of xy, and if they added 30 more i feel like megas would be to abundant already cause that would make 60. Also a lot of the megas in xy originate in gen 3 (aggron, gardevoir, medicham, banette, absol, menectric,mawile, blaziken) so maybe we wont get as many, maybe more like 5-10 new ones

the box art shows new groudon and kyogre art and you could argue its just stylistic but the company stated that they are showcasing new pokemon (the same thing they said when they revealed mega mewtwo) so these are most likely megas and that means we can expect rayquaza too
