They've all had interesting things. Hoenn had the fossils in the desert, the Regi Puzzles, Sky Tower, Secret bases etc. Sinnoh had the route to Snowpoint, the lakes, music, Heatran in Stark Mountain, Giratina and the Distortion World, the Underground, but Gen 6 was the first one that I started shiny hunting in, and I'm having a pretty good time.

So do I, I was sooo happy when I found it as a kid. I heard of shiny's from my cousin and couldn't believe my eye's when I found one.

I tried using it in my normal play trough but ended up boxing it at level 21.

The first time I started up Gale of Darkness for the GameCube, the Eevee I got at the start was not only shiny, but female as well.

Made for a pretty awesome experience with the game. I would love a third Orre game.

And I run a risky set that depends on tanking 2 turns of rest.
But maaaan is it fun to use.

Damn. Slept in late and forgot I can get shiny lapras today on original gold Only 5 and a half hours left I hope I can get it off soft resetting before the day ends. Wish me luck.

"why not get shines from later games" no money and no later games and my D's has a busted screen. I do have fire red and a working bottom screen on my D's to play ever gba games on but I cant start shiny hunting on that file until I get shiny charmander and hes cruel to sr for. Just 2x a minute. Lapras is almost 5. Plus I like 2nd gen original

This was a good week.

Finally got my shiny Vulpix after 75 boxes and then hatched this sweet level-ball magikarp after only 5.

I just randomly found a (naive) shiny Carbink during a Wonderlocke run. First encounter, too. It's kinda useless for my purposes, though, and I'm technically not allowed to use or at least keep it.

I was planning on Master Ball-ing it as a last instance. Turns out I got lucky; no more no less. Sent out Blastoise, one Ice Beam, around 1/4 of HP less. Another Ice Beam, a bit less than half HP now and freezes it. Throw one Ultra Ball, fails. Still frozen, throw another. Clicks.

It was a good day. Remember it like it was yesterday. It was on a boring family reunion as well.

Google tells me there's the option of using the Pokémon Bank to transfer all that unwanted garbage onto another copy of a compatible game and to just start a new game on that cartridge once all those boxes are filled up.

The problem with this method though, is that you have to progress all the way through the game till you get the Pokedex to use the Bank.
