You know, if Gardevoir isn't an option, you can always go Gallade.

Other options:
Grumpig or Lunatone.

Grumpig's got that Thick Fat for a bulky Psychic, Lunatone's got that unique setup and otherwise will never be used by anybody ever.

Non-Hoenn choices include:
Dry Skin Jynx - laugh as it demolishes the game.

Well, I was considering Flygon or Swellow. I trained a lot of Flygons during these years, also I was tempted to give a chance to Altaria. Probably I'll end up with Flygon since I really like it.
