Not that Weavile is overdesigned or anything, but if you look most Megas are kind of improved versions of their non-Mega forms with bells and whistles added on, but no increase in size.
I've always thought Weavile kind of looked more like a luxury Sneasel than a real evolution, especially considering some of the size differences with other gen 4 evolutions like Honchkrow or Gliscor.
