I agree that he Physical-Special split was great for most Pokémon, but it ruined Sceptile. Back then you could use Leaf Blade, Dragon Claw and Pursuit and they all did quite a bit of damage thanks to Sceptile's high Base Sp.Atk.

I just really hope they make M-Sceptile more Physical-oriented and give it a secondary type.

I am giga-hyped. Gen III was such a leap forward from Gens I and II in terms of graphics and side-game content like contests and secret bases that I had an absolutely blast playing it as a kid. I also loved the focus on exploration it had.

Z. I honestly thought Z would come out before the Hoenn remakes and thought we'd be waiting until next year for Z at that. I'm kinda glad that I turned out to be wrong on that front.

Secret bases hands down.

>Least favorite thing about Gen 3?
The water routes, also hands down. Everything about it was terribly implemented. The high encounter rates, the wide variance in pokemon levels on the route and the limited variance of pokemon types was just a huge mistake. It's one of the things that people complain about the most when they talk about Hoenn but the swarms of Wingull and Tentacool was just dumb when they wanted to put such an emphasis on having a large amount of the game take place on the water.

Yeah, that's true, but I mean Sceptile's BST is pretty even between its attack and sp attack anyway, I'd rather it just drop one or the other and invest it into the other one. The one that always comes to mind for me is Alakazam and the elemental punches.

I have a question when it comes to breeding for IVs... would the egg moves be guaranteed to be passed down from likewise-parent (along with a Ditto) to the offspring, or would that non-Ditto parent have to be male to do so?

Also, Egg moves -> Nature -> IVs would be the correct/most beneficial order to breed for, correct?

the parent in Gen VI is irrelevant to egg moves. Females actually are preferable because then you can pick inherited pokeballs. And yes, that's the correct order for breeding, but ensure you check abilities every time if you're breeding for HA.

Non-males can pass down egg moves this gen. So the parent's gender doesn't really matter this gen.

Personally I breed for a female of the right nature, then egg moves, then IVs, then Masuda Method.

If the parent had egg moves on it when it was placed in the Day Care, it doesn't matter if it comes out with level up moves. All your eggs will hatch with the egg moves you started with. At worst you'll need to spend some heart scales to relearn the egg moves on the parent if you want to breed another batch of eggs with the same parent.

No m8, the egg moves don't get inherited unless they're actually known by the parents. Like, when you're starting egg move breeding, the pokemon you start with has to have the egg move, right? You can't just pick any old pokemon that's levelled past the point where it learns the moves, otherwise how would the game deal with pokemon which can pass more than 5 different egg moves?

Okay just breed a few for you. My parent was Jolly. Not sure what nature you wanted so I just kept that. Their moves are Bubble, Water Sport, and Acid Armor so you will have to breed any egg moves you want.
All have Cursed Body for ability.

I didn't like how many of the legendaries were simply unavailable for anyone except for those select few who were able to travel to those events just to download some stupid event Pokémon. Most of these didn't even take part in this fucking country. I always wanted a Deoxys and I've yet to see one in any of my ganes.

Have the entire mega-album on my phone.

The post-game. Lati@s-hunting wasn't really that fun, and as much as I hate to say it, I did not care for the battle frontier in Emerald. I thought Gen IV's BF was exponentially better. Also, like >>19150424 said, internal battery drying up sucked.

Dad put some chemicals including naphthalene under the house because he thought a possum got under it, but it just permeated the house. Took me and mom going to the hospital after a week of dealing with the fumes for him to believe that it was actually bad for us.
