Also in Ruby we don't get to see this scene, but it's implied, since you fight Magma boss in the cave with Groudon inside, then Groudon wakes up and there is intense Sun all over the region until you fight it in another cave. In the footage we simply see the scene of Groudon emerging to amplify the Sun before going in the other cave.
