nobody was expecting just a question mark because they said they were going to show footage
last time they did that we had a good length demo of X/Y. before that we got an in battle trailer of Mewtwo. Before that we got some BW2 gameplay. And at at least with X/Y we already had over a minute of gameplay from the direct announcement.
