>>19165325I'm not sure which starter I'll pick really. Gen 3 is the only pokemon gen where all 3 options aren't either incredibly appealing or incredibly repulsive. All 3 starters have pros and cons to them when choosing to use them in game. Treecko is quick and has good offensive stats, but has a poor movepool for a majority of the game (this could be much different in ORAS, with a much higher number of TMs that also never run out), mudkip has great stats, a powerful and diverse movepool which includes the ever useful ice beam, but it gets absolutely devestated by grass types and it has poor speed, and blaziken which has a great movepool, great offensive stats, but prays every night for better speed and doesn't have the matching defenses to make up for it.
All in all, I think I'll just pick Treecko. Mudkip makes the game way too easy while everyone will be picking Torchic, and I've never been a huge fan of Blazikens design.
