>Sootopolis battleThis is probably likely, and just showing both perspectives of them. Perhaps we'll just see the one legend depending on the game. If not, I don't see why Emerald's plot wouldn't be spread to the two like Crystal's was in HGSS.
>Opening CutsceneThis is just a part from the beginning of the game's intro. Like Yveltal flying in Y/whatever Xerneas does in X. Just the stationary models that move on the press start screen
>new Battle animationsI think this is a possibility too. In battle, when Drought/Drizzle activates, it makes a special animation, but just for Groudon/Kyogre. Some Pokemon have special battle animations, for instance, Pikachu using Surf will whip out a surfboard (in the console games anyways). Similarly, Raichu surfed on its tail. I dont think its outside of the realm of possibility to suggest that they made special animations for a few Pokemon, especially box legends.
