I would prefer if they put their efforts into making every Pokemon have an individual surfing model instead of following pokemon

It was a great feature. Probably not much more than a gimmick exclusive to HGSS, but it could work in ORAS. Even more so since new animations for models doesn't take as much effort as making more sprite artwork that's good.

Fucking NO.

Walking pokemon + Amie together would be perfect. Turn around and click on your pokemon, then be taken to the amie screen with your current whereabouts in the background of Amie.

This is the best method. And will not be implemented.

Walking pokemon has more potential and surfing sprites is just a sprite, really. More riding pokemon is better
But if you must, then i'd like to point of that both are little more than spritework and could probably be done (if counting a few pokemon with the same sprites for surfing/riding) in the same game if they just tried
