I have Shadow Ball for most defensive breakers, and Flash Cannon for anything that Ghost is defensive against, Metal Sound for tearing them down while still in shield mode. But these are all really good strategies, may swap between a few and see what works...

It's pretty easy to sweep mono bugs if you don't have a staller in the mix since almost all challenge teams have Fire/Rock/Flying on more than one mon.
