Seems to me that the version to pick with the region that's basically a tropical island should have the team that's basically pirates. That's how I felt about it in 2002 and that's how I feel now. I'll probably get OR anyway though since I've had Sapphire for a decade and I have HeartGold, so I have enough Kyogres to last a while.
