My first ever starter was Treecko, but I love every gen 3 starter equally and I've used every starter so many times that it became boring.

I'm not sure what to do. Should I pick Treecko and let her be a part of my team or should I box my starter and go with a more original team this time?

I don't like most of the new pokemon from gen 3.
I like just about everything else. Only other problem I have is how much the rivals suck.

Why? The designs for the gen 3 Pokemon were great, lots of new species tied together perfectly with region.
The rival battle at the end was kinda disappointing i understand, but there's also Wally's awesome comeback
