Bibarel was amazing for easily accessible in game. I combined him with aerodactyl in D/P to cover all eight. I couldn't find a good combination other than him and lugia to cover all 8 in HG/SS.

I used Bibarel as my slave in Platinum and transferred it with my other Pokes every Gen, I finally decided to check it's stats on a whim the other day and found out it had three perfect.

I got a level 50-something Linoone over wonder trade, that had been caught at lv. 3. She had surf, cut and strength, and I added rock smash. She's lv. 67 now. Also just noticed she's picked up a sun stone.
Probably just my autism speaking, but I can't imagine trading away a pokemon I'd had for 40+ levels.

Nothing better than having an 8 spread on 2 smeargles, flying on your smeargle, surfing on your smeargle, diving with your smeargle and so on.

Yes, this is for postgame HM slaves in most games, but there is no reason to use anything else past the point in any game that you can obtain smeargles

Noivern's a great HM and utility slave.
Mine has Fly and Cut for overworld HMs, Super Fang to weaken anything I might want to catch and Thief + Frisk if the wild Pokemon is holding something.

it just happens. i have a lvl 100 hydreigon, gyarados, dragonite, talonflame, and six linoones. none of them are things i really used for battling. they are all utility pokemon. my tropius is around lvl 70 now. if only it got petal dance or sometihng better than razor leaf tho.
