Due to rotation, you literally can't play with older cards

As others have said, it's mostly power creep now.
Not on Yugioh levels, but still pretty bad when max health used to be like 90 and nowadays 200+ health is sort of common due to moves hitting for 150 or so damage per turn.
There's a lot of reliance on trainer cards

OP here, I played the Online TCG version. There were a lot of broken as fuck cards, like this mother fucker. It had 360hp at one point.
