Pretty much this, its role in RSE was just flying around, and I think only Steven tells you about it, there might be some "maybe legendary Pokemon can Mega evolve too, go look for lati@site in the middle of the ocean".

They just look really similar. M-Latios is bigger with red eyes, M-Latias is slightly smaller with yellow eyes.

Mega Latios stats change to 80/130/100/160/120/110 and Mega Latias to 80/100/120/140/150/110. They keep Levitate and typing.

They still look like retarded airplanes.
