I looked up his team and it seemed pretty cool. Looking forward to fighting him in the new games. I was pretty disappointed in Diantha, but I thought Iris was a good fight.

Gary/Blue was the best because of the whole "Rival who beats you to the punch every time" shtick and all, but Cynthia was the best fight overall. Steven was okay, neither great or terrible. Definitely better than Wallace though.

As a kid I played gens 1-2, skipped 3 and picked up again with gen 4.

My favorite champ battle was Iris in BW2, because I wasn't expecting it to be a challenge and I didn't metagame very hard to counter her.

On the topic of champs, Gary was a really cool surprise and I legitimately don't even remember fighting him as a kid. I just remember being super excited that I beat the game. My mom was slightly less impressed and made me go to bed...
