I would actually suggest the 2DS! This is based on a preference of mine, but I'll outline observational pros cons.
>Pros:
Doesn't fold.(This is the personal preference) no need to worry about the centre breaking/wearing out. Came from past phones in the early 2k's where phones would become limp or break.
---Feels surprisingly sturdy/robust!
-No need to mention price, but I did, if that's an issue
It depends on how much of a nostalgia thing you have, too. I grew up on non-folding handhelds, and it feels like it's been passed the torch well enough! Nice, sleek system that stays true to the origins of the pokermens while being modern without, in my opinion, being tacky. It's also pretty dern comfy!
>Cons. Everything has cons:
-Doesn't fold. Which means it only fits in a bag/ass pocket.
---Dusts up. There's also the liddle risk of scratches someone mentioned - which is legitimate. But just throw a few dollars at the case and that should fix it
- It's only been an observation, so feel free to correct, but the colors don't seem as... vibrant? Not -as- bright and saturated? Still looks great~
-No slot for original DS games. You can still use the 3DS game slot, but there's no -extra- port for o-DS.
I would definitely still recommend it to you, being interested. And shtuff.
