Y'all are proving to Game Freak that you're willing to eat up anything they shit out. Even worse, some of you are going to buy BOTH games, which perpetuates the idea that Game Freak can continue to split up the versions (and restrict content until the third installment) and you will still buy it.
This is probably part of the reason why XY were so lacking, because they knew they hyped us up, they knew we expected so much more and that we'd preorder and buy day 1, regardless of knowing just how much actual content the games had.
Thankfully these guys don't do DLC like other companies. The 3DS Mystery Dungeon is a prime example of what we might get for a main series release.
