The issue is, I wanted a gym leader spot, and as great as Walrein was, he wasn't going to net me any significant/safe win over things I need to cover type-wise. Avalugg can do Walrein's job better also in the format we had

In short: Walrein awesome, but too crippled by weather nerf and not as great in 3's as it is 6's where you have room to switch without great punishment
