1) It's fragile, and with all this priority flying around you can't really afford to not be able to take a hit
2) Excadrill is unbanned, who is a better spinner since it's able to hurt incoming spinblockers better than starmie, specifically...
3) Aegislash. Starmie can't do shit to aegislash, who forces starmie out and can even pursuit trap it
4) Bisharp. Starmie frequently carries 4 attacking moves and nothing else and bisharp ohko's with sucker punch.
5) Defog's buff making rapid spin nowhere near as coveted as before
6) Rain no longer being permanent.
