I was thinking about it and it actually seems like a good way to balance 6v6. no blatantly OP megas, no life orb for easy sweeps, no leftovers for stally matches which would be painful on cartridge, etc

Does it mean they will calculate the mean usage from all of these seasons and then ban the top 12 or will they look at each season individually and then ban, effectively excluding more than 12 Pokemon? Logic would suggest the first one, but this is gamefreak we're talking about.
