Hoenn in gen 3 was shit for many reasons.

And I'm hyped for the remakes because it will FIX those reasons.

obviously fixed by now
>no transfer pokémon
fixed
>slow gameplay
battles aren't slow anymore since gen V
>All the surfing
repels re-activate easily now
>different design style for mons
we are used to it by now after so many gens
>trumpets everywhere
music will be remastered. And they might add an item for the original music like in HGSS for people who liked trumpets

gen VI will show Hoenn in all its glory without the bad things that caused an initial bad impression.

Pretty much this. I didn't like gen 3 but I'm glad it's getting remade because I can experience it with all the stuff they're going to add in. they ARE going to add it in, right guys?

That's because this board's biggest demographic is now high school or early college students that started with Hoenn.

Most posters here were probably too young to play Gen 1/2 when they came out.

I'll state this again, the theme of RSE was Land Vs. Water so of course half the game is land based and the other half water. I will not excuse the only three pokemon you can find in the water but here's hoping they learn from HGSS mistakes.
