Hold on one minute.
Because ORAS is happening, does that mean that after the X and Y saga, there might be a chance of returning to Hoenn for a bit in the anime, or maybe a chance for Max and May returning to the show for a while?
I mean I know Ash/Satoshi didn't go back to Johto when HG/SS came out but why not speculate?
What would you like to see in the anime?

May will probably return for a while, there's a conveniently placed contest in Kalos, Serena gives it a try and loses to May, while also being jealous of her all the time because May's basically a pretty good Coordinator and has also known Ash for quite a while. There could be a small episode arc like with HGSS where they just prominently feature Hoenn Pokemon, maybe the trainer with the M-Blaziken could return, maybe Diantha could show up at the contest with her M-Gardevoir...

No clue, really. But it won't last for too long.
