To be fair Virizion isn't all that dangerous in RU, smogonsword jr. completely shits all over every physical Virizion set in existence and its attacking stats aren't great, it has little going for it besides a fast close combat. NU is also very young at the moment, there are a lot of things there that don't belong.

venomoth is really the #1 nuts mon in the tier right now for sure, but all the other ones listed are both competitive RU mons and would shit all over the gen5 NU meta

I've never been too bothered by Cress, though I do put Doublade on practically every team I make. I agree that Cress isn't healthy for the meta though, it is extremely good at what it does and most teams are fucked trying to stop it.

Personally I think Typhlosion and Durant are more unhealthy for NU than Sawk or Magmortar. Virizion doesn't belong but hey, you get Archeops and Doublade to ruin its day for now.

Eh, the guy could've over-predicted. Fletchinder is the obvious switch-in to Doublade's Sacred Sword, which is the obvious move to use against Cobalion, so OP could either Shadow Claw the incoming Fletchinder as it Rocks Out, or just SD to finish the job with Shadow Sneak next turn or something. Hence the Zororuse.

OP did mention pulling off a double switch in the preceding turns. His opponent was right to have been on the lookout for dastardly plots.

It had a brief stint in UU before it got banned to BL, along with Terrakion, Landrous-I, Deo-D and S, and Manaphy. Latias, Keldeo, Chansey, and Zapdos were all also UU but never BLed.

This was before they stopped using bottom-ladder shitters for tiering, which solved pretty much everything.

Due to how the game works, it's much easier for something to be broken on Offense than on Defense. Tornadus and Raikou can hit cripplingly hard at lightning speeds, while Kyurem and Shaymin can pile on pure pain at a still-somewhat speedy setting. All of them can create a win condition in just a couple of turns.
Contrast that with Cresselia. In order for Usagi to save the planet don't tell me you've never heard of Sailor Moon, she has to wait around and get her shit pushed in for nearly 20 minutes until the monster offender of the week reveals its Achilles' Heel and folds like a cheap suit. Sure, she pulls off a win most of the time, but she takes enough time doing it that many a crafty and cunning criminal could conceivably change course and cruelly cancel Cresselia's conquest.

Volcanoes and glaciers are both nigh unstoppable forces of nature that can radically alter terrain. Guess which one inspires a drastic response to its activities?

There's no way to change back without King's Shield, though, even if the move itself fails to activate. It's a function of Stance Change, yes, but to attribute it to the ability alone misses the mark by a bit.

I understand, but the main thing is that king's shield's effect is not changing its form, that is tied to ability.

This is also why Meloetta DOESN'T have an ability to change forms.

Basically:
-Aegislash ability checks form and attack used to change forms
-Runic Song just checks if user is meloetta and immediately changes it.

If slash could change forms by using the same move or two specific moves, then it could have an ability.

Honestly, I'd rather that Meloetta worked like Aegislash instead of the other way around. An Ability that checks if it's using a Dance/Physical move or a Song/Special move would be perfect. Or just replacing Aria forme's Psychic-typing with Fairy, since it feels like a better thematic fit for a siren/muse.
