>>19281613Lucas: the son of a teacher and a tinkerer, Lucas is obsessed with the "how" of things. Normally very cynical and serious, with a dry and blunt manner of speech, he is slow to pick up on social cues, and often offends people offhandedly without intent. Possessing a very strong ideological center, he becomes almost violently passionate when debating socioeconomics and scientific theory. Keeps an extensive amount of blank journals that he fills with highly detailed Pokemon data, catching multiples of the same Pokemon to cross-check data. His Torterra carries these several dozen tomes while traveling.
Dawn: born from socialites, Dawn carries an almost instinctual knowledge of sewing, fashion and fabrics. Able to fix any torn or stained garment with ease, she eagerly competes in Contests with homemade outfits for her and her Pokemon. She despises messy environments, particularly the boot-grabbing marshes of Pastoria City, and is wildly social, often irritating Lucas with her dragging him to parties and parades.
Hilbert: having grown up in a three-bedroom renovated apartment above a repair shop in the city, Hilbert is blessed with an affinity for all things mechanical. Be it fixing damaged Pokeballs or fine-tuning Dowsing Machines, Hilbert can figure out and correct problems in machinery quickly and efficiently. Although not worldly or culturally enlightened, his small-life attitude and mellow manner let him socially interact well enough. Has an absolute distaste for sweet foods.
Hilda: a girl of ritz and razzmatazz, Hilda loves a good party and can talk her way into anywhere she likes. Very persuasive and confident, she loves money and looks for ways to get it easy. She doesn't mind getting dirty, is a shrewd bargainer, and can read people's actions expertly.
Nate: a sickly child, Nate suffers from an immune disease that must be treated regularly. Quiet and easily awed, he nonetheless displays outstanding bravery. Loves medicine and humanitarian causes.
