>One of them approaches me in the library
>Asks what other pokemon games I would recommend him playing
>He's only played Gen 1
>Tell him to get and play silver, then get a ds lite and buy emerald and platinum.
>one week later
>Find him in the library playing White
> "Dude, I never knew the newer pokemon games were so great! All these awesome new pokemon and regions!"
>Tell him about X and Y coming out soon
>Tells me he's gonna go tell the others how fun the newer games are
>3 days later
>He finds me
>Blames me for none of his friends liking him anymore
>Tell him he could do better than a bunch of genwunners that refuse to try anything new
>He walks away
>Finals week
>Spot him in the college café playing White 2
>3 other people with him all with dslites, all playing pokemon
>Smile, walk on
>Hear someone running up behind me
>Its him
>Apologizes, thanks me for showing him the other generations of pokemon
>Gives me some old burger king pokemon toys he kept on his backpack as thanks
