Then make its special movepool more diverse. It just makes no damn sense for ANY pokemon to lean on a specific attack stat, then have the majority of its effective moves NOT USE THAT STAT

Except A) its stats were good enough is RSE to warrant it to be a mixed attacker. B) Leaf Blade and the Grass-type in general was special, so a higher special attack was necessary. C) Its movepool in RSE wasn't really that diverse, the good physical moves it gets, everyone gets.

Power creep and the physical/special split is more a problem than its stat distribution.

Still doesnt change most of the attacks it gets are physical. Its not like Sceptile is the only thing to get Leaf Blade but it did used to be kind of its thing.
